A 24-year-old man was granted bail by SC-ST court in Madhya Pradesh after the defense produced evidences hinting at consensual relationship between the couple. The accused man was in jail since June 30.
Case:
Justice Sunil Jain remarked that the complainant and the accused had been in a relationship for the last 5-years. Additionally, the judge also said that the complainant was mature enough to decide what was right or wrong for herself.
Advocate Harshpal Verma, who represented the accused, said that the girl was in a consensual relationship with his client, and he also produced copies of WhatsApp chats and several photographs of them together.
Verma informed court that on many occasions the girl had demanded money from the accused, and he had been transferring the same to her bank account. It is when the accused stopped sending money to his girlfriend, she falsely charged him with rape.

The court went through the WhatsApp conversation between the two, which revealed connection.
The court concluded,
Taking into consideration the facts and love relationship between the complainant and accused, the bail application is granted.
