17-Year-Old Male Student Dies By Suicide Due To Alleged False Molestation Complaints By Female Neighbour

A Class 12 student from Rajasthan has died by suicide in Jhunjhunu’s Choradi Athuni village. The family members of the student have now made shocking revelations in the matter. The relatives of the victim have accused the director and the teacher of the child’s school and also a woman living in his neighbourhood.

Case:

Male student’s maternal uncle, Kamlesh Kumar, said that the family of 17-year-old Ankit (victim) was having a dispute with a woman living in their neighbourhood. The female neighbour’s two girls were studying in Class 3 and Class 7 in the same school as that of Ankit.

Due to disputes with Ankit’s family, the accused woman used to allegedly make false complaints regarding the boy to his teachers everyday. This made the male child very upset. However, the woman did not stop with regular complaints. During one instance, she even informed the school administration that Ankit had allegedly molested her daughter. 

Kumar has named Subhash, director of the school, along with one teacher and also the female neighbour – all responsible for Ankit’s suicide.

Allegations by Family of the Victim

Kumar informed police that the school administration used to harass Ankit, due to undue pressure by the accused woman. Due to this, Ankit slipped into depression and ended life by consuming poison.

However, before ending his life, Ankit left a video message admitting that he was taking this drastic step due to torture and humiliation by his female neighbour, by registering several false complaints against him with the school administration. 

He added,

Whatever I am doing, I am doing it due to depression.

He also accused couple of schoolmates Sajjan and Mahesh Kumar of constantly harassing him.

Ankit had left his home at 1pm on Saturday. The family could not trace him after multiple efforts. However, he returned home at 6.30pm but was in a bad shape.

Later, he informed his family that he had consumed poison, after which he was rushed immediately to Suman Hospital in the locality. Despite doctors treating him, Ankit died at 4am on Sunday morning.

Ankit’s body was sent for postmortem at the BDK Hospital in Jhunjhunu and later he was cremated that evening.
