10-Year-Old Boy Killed After Spotting His Mother In Objectionable Position With Her Paramour

Mothers are next to God! At least that is what society makes us believe. However, what we often forget that parents – be it mother or father – are human first and can err as well. 

A 10-year-old boy in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by a 30-year-old man who was having an illicit affair with his mother. The crime occurred after the now-deceased minor spotted his mother and the accused in an objectionable position, reported TimesNow.

Case:

The minor boy identified as Neeraj Kumar, was a native of Laxminia village within Baruraj police station limits in the district. On Friday night, he went missing, following which his family members flared up in a search for him. While the family was yet to approach the police, villages spotted the missing child’s body in a canal on the outskirts of the village.

Post his death, the child’s 45-year-old mother registered a police complaint against one Sanjay Pandit, accusing him of kidnapping and killing her son. She also alleged that Pandit sodomised her son before murdering him.

Following the complaint, the police picked up Pandit, a daily wage labourer from Shivani Patti area, for questioning. Pandit confessed to having killed the child by strangulating him after taking him to the canal.

Pandit also informed the police that he was in an illicit relationship with the now-deceased child’s mother. The police said,

Neeraj had spotted his mother with Pandit in an objectionable position a few days ago. It was due to this reason that Pandit killed him so that his illicit relation with the child’s mother who is 15 years elder to him is not leaked to anyone else.

After postmortem examination, the child’s body was handed over to his family for final rights. The officer said that further inquiries are underway to find if the child’s mother is also involved in the crime or if she was aware of Patel’s intention to murder him. She would be interrogated after the situation at her house normalises.
